We are looking for strong minded, creative and confident character actors. I will be looking to do so through improv based auditions, essentially using it as a casting process to find suitable actors that work well through improvisation. We will be holding casting calls in central Manchester over the next week or so. The film is set in North Manchester and is about the plight of a young boy trying to escape the constraints of his life. Set on the day of the young mans sixteenth birthday, the films journeys through his existence and explores his surroundings. It deals not so much with the source of the problems but rather tries to take a deeper look at how they can affect people and ways in which they are dealt with. This will be the beginning of a casting process, with the end goal to form a crew of willing and suitable actors for the film. The film will begin shooting at the end of March (20th till the 25th), and will be a vital addition to any actors showreel.
