Producer Ben Keene and Director P D Blake have teamed up to write 'The Last Day', a short black comedy following 'Bob' on the day he has decided to commit suicide. Throughout the day, he searches for a reason to stay alive; instead, he lurches from one disaster to the next - it seems hopeless! The film is to be shot in HD using DSLR's by our highly experienced Director of Photography Phil Wood who has many credits to his name from cinematic feature films to TV commercials and music videos. www.philwooddop.co.uk This project was born out of a love of the craft. With this in mind, it is our intention to create a beautiful, yet guerrilla style film that can be shown at festivals and via our channels on YouTube and Vimeo as well as others. This, we hope, will increase the exposure of cast and crew alike, as well as entertaining our audience with hysterical situations and clever, thought provoking scripting. The same Producer/ Director team have just completed 'Notes' - a short, high production-value film starring Alison Steadman and Edward De Souza exploring Alzheimer's and the impact of the disease on family and friends. This film is due for release March 2012.
